Recorded by Producer Mike Yates, the song is the first release by The Dirt Deacons since forming in 2019, who also contributed to the arrangement and played bass on the track. It is the first song written and recorded in over twenty years by songwriters Brad Chamblee, Keith Plunkett and Bryce Upshaw.
